About Kyra

Kyra Savage (she/her) is a musician and actor located in the suburbs of Chicago. She first started acting her freshman year of high school, and decided to pursue it after being an ensemble member in Footloose that same year. A Transfer student from Lewis University, she recently graduated with a double major B.A. in Musical Theatre and Theatre: Acting. During her time at NCC, she was involved in the TAU Sigma Honors Society, Tri-Alpha Honors Society, Concert Choir, and was part of the first generation college student program, Cardinal First.

Kyra’s NCC credits include: The Neofuturists and NCC Collab: Shattered Noodle Scrapbook (Ensemble), pool (no water) (Ensemble/Deviser), The Wolves (#11), Next to Normal (Ensemble), and Into the Woods (Baker’s Wife). Her Lewis University credits include: The Romancers (Sylvette), Silent Sky (Margaret Leavitt), These Shining Lives (Catherine Donohue), and All in The Timing in which she was the props manager.

In her free time, Kyra rules the realm as the Queen at Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament in Schaumburg, Illinois. She also had the opportunity to travel to the California castle and rule over the west coast. When she isn’t acting on stage, Kyra plays the drums, bass guitar, and enjoys a relaxing horror novel.
